Village confines exercise

The draft village confines map was presented at the Parish Council meeting held on 8th October.  It can be downloaded by clicking on this link. The map will now be submitted to Ashford Borough Council for endorsement.  If the Borough Council recommends any changes, these will go out for further public consultation.

Village confines – public consultation

There will be a Village Confines Public Consultation on Saturday 29th September in the Memorial Hall, 10.00am – 2.00pm, where the final version of the proposed village confines map can be viewed. At the October meeting of the Parish Council it will be presented for endorsement.

Green Luck Farm

Following reports of concerns for animal welfare, the Parish Council has been assured by the Borough Council that these are being investigated by a number of agencies. It is understood that some animals have already been removed by the RSPCA.

Jubilee field ‘bridge’

Please note that the “sleeper bridge” between Jubilee Field and the Football Field will be removed. Unfortunately one of the two sleepers has rotted and has subsequently been damaged, making the “bridge” unsafe to use.
